The Grand Valley Trails Alliance is seeking board members to help guide the organization. As a board member, you will be expected to help provide visionary direction, be an evangelist for the organization and help raise money to support its efforts. Board meetings will be regular, scheduled meetings and board members will be expected to also attend GVTA activities and projects.

We are looking for trail enthusiasts who have some experience volunteering with a trail user group and preferably current or previous experience serving as a member of board of directors. Special skills or relevant connections are also sought.

Lead

The Grand Valley Trails Alliance is looking for members of the trail advocacy community to help lead projects related to trails in the Grand Valley and surrounding area. We need skilled leaders with specialized experience to lead and drive a variety of projects. If you are passionate and skilled in an area and want to take on a challenging, but very rewarding project, the GVTA needs you!

We have identified a variety of projects we would like to focus our current efforts on. These include; developing a comprehensive trails database, grant writing, developing the trails proposal pipeline, marketing, volunteer coordination and much more. If you have an idea for the organization and would like to help make it a reality, please contact us.

The Grand Valley Trails Alliance offers a variety of opportunities to volunteer with the organization. From field work, to administrative tasks and from specific projects to general activities, we have volunteer opportunities to meet your goals and availability.

Since the GVTA is an organization that is focused on trails and supports all trail user groups and individuals, we want to help harness your passion for trails and help empower you to help support our growing trail network. Whether you pedal, hike, ride or drive your favorite trails, we support you.
