COPMOBA will be holding information and outreach meetings for the Palisade Plunge project in Palisade and Grand Junction next week. If you are interested in learning more about the project or how you can get involved, please consider attending either of these two events.
Where and When:
Jan 18 – Palisade Community Center, 120 W. 8th Street 4-7 PM
Jan 19 – Lincoln Park Barn, 12th Street (south of North Avenue) 4-7 PM
The goals of the meetings are to share planning activities of the working group established to forward the Palisade Plunge project and to encourage public consideration and comment. The working group is comprised of representatives from the USFS, BLM, Colorado Parks & Wildlife, Town of Palisade, City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Powderhorn Mountain Resort, and COPMOBA.
An informational presentation will be provided, reviewing various aspects of the project and a providing a proposed route. Representatives will be present from the participating organizations to help answer questions. Maps and materials will be available to facilitate discussion of the Palisade Plunge project.
